TWO HOME MADE DIY DEEP CONDITIONER RECIPE

Hey kinks

So as the title implies I will be showing you two very easy home made DIY deep conditioners to give your hair that glow and rejuvenation it needs.

The first one is the:

MAYO DEEP CONDITIONER
Ingredients: Mayonnaise, eggs, honey and olive oil

Measurements and benefits of these ingredients

6 spoons of mayonnaise

BENEFITS OF MAYO TO YOUR HAIR:

  •  The vinegar present in mayonnaise helps to maintain a healthy pH balance which in turns restores damaged hair.
  • Using mayo helps define curls by treating dryness and frizz.
  • Mayonnaise helps seal the hair’s cuticle shut which keeps moisture from the atmosphere from sneaking into your hair shaft. This keeps your hair calm and smooth.

2 eggs

BENEFITS OF EGGS

  • Sulphur in egg yolk stimulates the scalp and increases hair growth. Egg White: Egg whites are one of the best sources of protein.
  • Protein makes hair follicles stronger.
  •  They also contain folate and other minerals that stimulate hair growth and prevent hair loss.
  • They also contain folate and other minerals that stimulate hair growth and prevent hair loss.

2 table spoons of honey

BENEFITS OF HONEY

  •  The humectant properties of honey help regulate and retain moisture in hair, plus honey is said to strengthen hair follicles for healthy growth.
  • Honey is an emollient which means it seals moisture in your hair, keeping it conditioned. This reduces breakage, which is often a cause for slower hair growth.
  • It has rich antioxidant properties which prevent damage, keeping your scalp and hair healthy.
  • Honey also comprises antibacterial and antiseptic qualities.

2 table spoons of Olive oil

BENEFITS OF OLIVE OIL

  • Loaded with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, olive oil helps retain the moisture in your hair and stimulates their growth.
  • It also protects your hair against dirt, pollution and strong sunrays.
I should add that this is a great protein treatment for your hair

PRO: The pro of this is that it does all that the benefits of the ingredients says.

CON: The con of this for me is that it can get really really messy so get ready with an extra towel to keep wiping it off.

THE MIXTURE

After applying the mixture generously to hair,  wear a shower cap for 15-30 minutes and rinse it off.
Please note to do this on CLEAN hair.

AVOCADO MIX CONDITIONER

MEASUREMENTS AND BENEFITS

2 Avocado

BENEFITS OF AVOCADO
  • Avocado oil helps rejuvenate and moisturize the scalp. A rich source of proteins, amino acids and vitamins, avocado helps soothe the scalp and promotes long, strong, healthy hair growth.
  • Avocados are high in vitamins B and E, which work at the cellular level to protect and strengthen hair. Vitamin B is essential for hair growth. Vitamin E helps repair damage on the scalp, which may slow or prevent hair growing.

1/2Coconut milk

BENEFITS OF COCONUT MILK
  • Applying coconut milk on your scalp gives a cooling sensation. It nourishes your hair by giving natural moisture from roots to ends.

2 Bananas

BENEFITS OF BANANAS
  • Banana is rich in potassium, natural oils, carbohydrates and vitamins which help in softening the hair and protects the hair's natural elasticity preventing split ends and breakage.
  • Banana creates manageability, shine, growth and controls dandruff.
  • Banana rules for dry, itchy, flaky hair. It keeps hair hydrated and healthy. With regular use, a banana hair mask can increase the moisture content of your hair, smooth frizz, and soothe your itchy scalp.
1/4 cup of honey
2 spoons of honey
Oils of choice

THE MIXTURE

Apply generously to hair and cover for 30-60 minutes and rinse off.  Also do this on clean hair.

PRO: All the benefits of the ingredients are really a good mixture to nourish your hair.

CON: If left for too long it can become dry and some sort flaky. Making it harder to rinse off.
